CHRIST CHURCH WASHINGTON HEIGHTS THANKSGIVING FOR THE COMMUNITY
Saturday, November 19th, 12:30 p.m., Christ Church Washington Heights, 4111 Broadway, btwn 173rd & 174th Streets
Christ Church Washington Heights will provide over 200 Thanksgiving meals to their community, and they could use Christ Church Park Avenue’s help! There are many ways you can serve our neighbors: On Friday, November 18th at 4:00 p.m., help with setting up; on Saturday, November 19th, help serve from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. and/or help clean up from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.; Help by donating food – cooked turkeys needed! Also, side dishes and other proteins too. Contact Rev. Mickey Correa to offer your help to our neighbors in Washington Heights.

 
SHARING TABLE – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

You can now sign up for Sharing Table in November. Contact Christ Church to enter your name for a chance to win smiles from our fellow New Yorkers who need a hot meal as the weather gets colder. Our Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts will be on November 20th and December 18th respectively, and we need your help to provide hope through good meals and company!

The “lost generation” is far from lost. We’re here, and we’re people of faith. All Gen-Xers (born roughly from the early 1960s to mid-1970s) are invited to lunch to discuss the development of a Gen X Connection Group of support and encouragement. Once thought to be “disaffected and directionless,” Gen-Xers are forging ahead with a dedication to love.
