Our youth program includes opportunities for children in 6th grade and older to come together for fellowship, group discussions, worship, Bible study and service. We believe these encounters help our youth develop lasting friendships, as they start to figure out who they are and transition into young adulthood and the larger Christian community.
If you (or your child) are interested in participating in any of these programs, please contact Rev. Leslie Houseworth-Fields.
Middle school youth gather during the 11:00 a.m. worship hour on the second and third Sundays of the month from September through June. Through music, discussion, and prayer, students will begin to consider how to apply their faith to their lives as adolescents.
Confirmation provides young people the opportunity to explore their faith. As the youth are confirmed, they take responsibility for their faith publicly in a special worship service. Youth in 6th grade and above who have not been confirmed are invited to join Confirmation class in January of each year.
Many social events are planned for the Youth Group throughout the year, including movie and game nights, weekend retreats, and a hiking trip.
