Matthew’s Gospel has long been a deeply treasured account of Jesus’ life and ministry.  This carefully organized, theologically rich text contains many of Jesus’ most memorable teachings and saying, including the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, the Golden Rule, and the Lord’s Prayer.  Our class meeting will explore these and other fascinating sections of this gospel which has always been given pride of place in the New Testament canon.
