“The danger of a nuclear catastrophe today is very high. I think it’s of paramount importance for people to understand the danger” William Perry (former US Secretary of Defense). These words were spoken by Secretary Perry in June 2015. Since then the dangers have been demonstrated by the war of words and tensions between two nuclear weapon states, the United States and North Korea. “The Nuclear Requiem” is a documentary meant to provide insights and context to the question, “Why do nuclear weapons still exist?”
