Dear Friends,
This year, we invite you to make the Psalms part of your Advent journey. Our pastors and staff have prepared short reflections that highlight the powerful themes we find in the seasonal psalter. The Church and our Israelite ancestors in faith have looked to the Psalms for generations to provide inspiration – in the work for justice, in sustaining hope, in trusting God’s dream for the world, in the call to speak to God from the heart. In these weeks of preparation and renewal, may you too will find nourishment in the sacred words of the Psalms. As we turn the page and begin, may these verses and our reflections renew you in your vocation to share with all the love we have known in Emmanuel, God with us.
