INTRODUCTION TO THE QUAKERS – Religion in America Lecture Series – Sunday, November 18th, 12:30 p.m., Woolverton Room, 4th Floor. The Society of Friends serve as witnesses to peace, openness, silence, toleration. With Daniel Seeger, a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), we will explore the origins, spirituality, and practices of this tiny but inspiring denomination. Daniel Seeger has worked for the American Friends Service Committee for 29 years and has also served as Executive Director of Pendle Hill, a Quaker Center for Study and Contemplation in Wallingford, Pennsylvania.
