Eucharist: New Dimensions From the Teaching of Rabbi Jesus

Bruce Chilton, a scholar of early Christianity and Judaism will lead a lecture series at Christ Church on Tuesdays June 2, 9, and 16 at 6:30 p.m. His popular books have been widely reviewed and include Rabbi Jesus: An Intimate Biography, Rabbi Paul: An Intellectual Biography and Abraham’s Curse: The Roots of Violence in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Chilton has also written numerous academic books, including Religious Tolerance in World Religions in 2008. He is the Bernard Iddings Bell Professor of Religion at Bard College and priest at the Free Church of Saint John in Barrytown, NY and was formerly a professor of New Testament at Yale Divinity School.
